join us for our last hands-on class of the season. agnes will demonstrate her signature hand-tied bouquet with gorgeous blooms from her cutting garden. color, texture, and mechanics will be covered. attendees will then choose from an assortment of flowers and foliage to design their own bouquets to take home.

class is $45/person and includes all materials. beverages and snacks may be purchased separately from our gracious host, Salmon Creek Cafe.

She’ll demonstrate arranging a hand-tied bouquet, including where to add foliage and unique textural elements. then it’s your turn… explore the garden, get inspired, and harvest your own blooms. agnes will be on-hand to help you craft your own perfect bouquet to take home.

Hori Hori Flowers is Popping-Up at the Arboretum at South Seattle College during their plant sale. We are offering hand-tied bouquets and vased arrangements for Mother's Day. Ranunculus, tulips, and peonies (if they bloom in time!) will be harvested from our cutting garden combined with blooms from nearby farms. Hand-ties start at $35, sample pictured above. 

A limited selection of Beth Farrow Pottery will showcase spring beauties. Beth is a fellow gardener friend as well as potter who throws beautiful and functional pottery, I'm delighted to offer from her newest line.

We invite you to come pick up a bouquet for your mom and plants at the Arboretum's plant sale; please come and support several local businesses! Pre-orders are highly recommended.
